Boca Raton is a city on Florida’s southeastern coast, known for its golf courses, parks and beaches. Large, oceanfront Red Reef Park is home to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center with trails, a butterfly garden and a sea turtle sanctuary. Downtown, Boca Raton Museum of Art has modern and contemporary American and European collections, and a sculpture garden. Nearby Mizner Park Amphitheater hosts concerts and events.
Boca Raton is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, incorporated in May 1925. In the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 84,392; the 2012 population estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau was 87,836. However, the majority of people with a Boca Raton postal address, about 200,000 do not actually reside within Boca Raton's municipal boundaries. As a business center, the city's daytime population increases significantly. In terms of both population and land area, Boca Raton is the largest city between West Palm Beach and Pompano Beach, Broward County. |

Deerfield Beach is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States, just south of the Palm Beach County line. The city is named for the numerous deer that once roamed the area. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 75,018.
Deerfield Beach's history dates back to 1890 when a small settlement named Hillsborough was developed along the Hillsboro River. As the population grew to 20 by 1898, the settlement was now served by its own post office and the town was named Deerfield for the deer that grazed along the Hillsboro River. |

Delray Beach is a small city on Florida’s southeast coast. The Pineapple Grove Arts District is dotted with public art and galleries. Nearby, Cornell Art Museum displays contemporary works. The lakeside Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens offers tea ceremonies, calligraphy workshops and serene outdoor spaces. Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a park featuring a raised boardwalk with views of birds, turtles and alligators.
Delray Beach is a coastal city in Palm Beach County, Florida, USA. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 60,522. Native Americans lived or passed through the area at various times, and hunters, trappers, and runaway slaves may also have lived or passed through the area in the 18th and 19th centuries, but there is no record or evidence of them. |
F O R T L A U D E R D A L E
Fort Lauderdale is a city on Florida's southeastern coast, known for its beaches and boating canals. The Strip is a promenade running along oceanside highway A1A. It's lined with upscale outdoor restaurants, bars, boutiques and luxury hotels. Other attractions include the International Swimming Hall of Fame, with pools and a museum of memorabilia, and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, featuring trails and a lagoon.
Fort Lauderdale is 23 miles (37km) north of Miami. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 165,521. The city is a popular tourist destination, with an average year-round temperature of 77 degrees and an annual 3,000 hours of sunshine. Greater Fort Lauderdale has over 4,000 restaurants, 63 golf courses, 12 shopping malls, 16 museums, 132 nightclubs, 278 parkland campsites, and 100 marinas housing 45,000 resident yachts. Fort Lauderdale is named after a series of forts built by the United States during the Second Seminole War; the first was at the fork of the New River, the second at Tarpon Bend on the New River between the Colee Hammock and Rio Vista neighborhoods, and the third near the site of the Bahia Mar Marina. |

Highland Beach is a town in the southern portion of eastern Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 3,539. The Town encompasses 1.1 total square miles and is bounded on the north and northwest by the City of Delray Beach and on the south and southwest by the City of Boca Raton. The Atlantic Ocean lies adjacent to the Town on the east and the Intracoastal Waterway lies to the west. The Town’s “main street” is a beautiful tree-lined stretch of Florida’s state road A1A.
Highland Beach is a residential community with a year-round population of 4,150 which increases to approximately 8,500 during the winter months by residents who list their northern homes as their official place of residence. Residents are composed of approximately 80% retirees and 20% persons employed or engaged in business enterprises in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. |

Hillsboro Beach, officially known as the Town of Hillsboro Beach, is a town in Broward County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,875 at the 2010 census. The town was named for the Earl of Hillsborough, who received large grants of land from the King of England while Florida was an English possession.
The Town of Hillsboro Beach is beautifully situated on a narrow peninsula between the shimmering Intracoastal Waterway and the clear blue Atlantic Ocean. The Town's Southern boundary is punctuated by the Hillsboro Inlet and the majestic and historic Hillsboro Lighthouse. The Town's total length is about 3 miles and at its widest part is only about 900 feet. |

Lighthouse Point is a suburb of Fort Lauderdale located in Broward County, Florida, United States. The suburb was named for the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse, which is located in nearby Hillsboro Beach. As of the 2010 census, the population of Lighthouse Point was 10,344. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6km2). 2.29 square miles (6km2) of it is land and .11 square miles (0km2) of it (4.58%) is water.
Lighthouse Point is a small town that wishes to remain so. The leisurely lifestyle appeals to its residents and they have no need to be concerned about future expansion. Characterized by informal affluence and a leisurely pace, the attractive neighborhoods are quiet, tree shaded, and water-laced. Of the residences, 80% are single family homes, many of which front on the City’s 18 miles of waterways. |
P O M P A N O B E A C H
Pompano Beach is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States, along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean just to the north of Fort Lauderdale. It’s known for its beaches, marinas and offshore coral reef, plus numerous wrecks and other dive sites. Pompano Community Park has tennis courts and an amphitheater. The long Pompano Beach Pier stretches into the Atlantic Ocean. North, along the shore, the 1900s Hillsboro Lighthouse guards the Hillsboro Inlet, an entrance to the Intracoastal Waterway.
As of the 2010 census the city's population was 99,845, with an estimated population of 102,984 as of 2012. Pompano Beach is currently in the middle of a redevelopment process to revitalize its beachfront and historic downtown. The city has also been listed as one of the top real estate markets, being featured in CNN, Money and the Wall Street Journal as one of the country's top vacation home markets. Pompano Beach Airpark, located within the city, is the home of the Goodyear BlimpSpirit of Innovation. |
